- I was part of the NJROTC Battalion at Escambia High School for four years. My junior year I was the Operations Officer, ensuring unit activities were planned and ran smoothly. My senior year I was the Executive Officer, second in command, and in charge of directing the activities of the staff and assisting the Commanding Officer in leading and running the unit. During my time there I was also the commander of the armed basic drill team and the academic drill team.
- I was a part of the Escambia High School Track and Field team for two years, during which I trained hard, competed harder, and encouraged my teammates in practice and at meets. I was an exemplary athlete and showed sportsmanship along with perseverance and morale.
- I was part of the Escambia High School marching band and jazz band for 2 years and contributed to successful shows, concerts, and displays of music.
