Responsible for the complete migration from Agfa PACS to Sectra Radiology and Cardiology PACS. This includes HL7 mappings, and many DICOM transformations. Also responsible for installing, configuring, and optimizing the Sectra platform, and DICOM Systems Unifier. Other responsibilities include configuring modalities to send to the new platform, updating and installing Hologic Secure View workstations, training, and go-live support. I am also responsible for the transition from legacy RIS to CUPID and Radiant

• Responsible for designing and road maps for all PACS software at the practice
• Working intimately with all purveyors to maintain the relationship between the practice and our vendors

• I personally saved 5 rural hospitals from leaving Desert Radiology by enhancing their technology and educating them on their equipment
• I personally rebuilt the Mammo workflow to increase findings, positioning, and report distribution
• Implemented ACR standards within the practice that included routing studies automatically to the ACR
• Automated multiple workflow, which saved the practice a substantial amount of resources and money
• By improving the radiologist's workflow, the practice saved 7.5 million dollars in lost revenue as a result.

• The implantation and management of MERGE PACS systems as well as the maintenance the current PACS and RIS system Intelerad PACS and Sectra RIS
• The day to day operations require that all systems are maintained throughout the United States
• Simonmed Has over 60 centers throughout United States that require consistent attention as well as maintenance such as training new staff, configuring new modalities, and running productivity reports as well as custom reports on request
• This position also requires me to travel throughout the United States to turn up new centers as well as current centers to keep up with Simonmed and ACR standards
• This position also requires the ability to engineer custom LINUX servers and gateway solutions that I have built from knowledge that was gained throughout my career such as DCM4CHEE and CONQUEST
• Building relationships in and outside of the organization is also required to ensure the quality of service in and outside of the organization
• The PACS ADMIN position also requires me to constantly and consistently analyze and report every aspect of the organization on a day to day basis
• Configuring new and existing modalities to communicate with the PACS system in order for images to be distributed correctly as 2well as the work must function to be optimized
• The modalities in which I work on our Fuji computed radiography machines, Agfa computed radiography, GE MRI machines, Toshiba MRI, Phillips MRI, GE CT machines, Philips CT, GE logic series ultrasound units, Philips ultrasound units, and other Dicom devices including PACS gear, eFilm, and KPACS.
