- See what is needed for the warehouse I was responsible for, then requested what is needed from the other warehouse
- Once that inventory was brought to me, I would put that inventory away
- I would get order tickets that I had to pull in inventory from our warehouse and organize them to be shipped to another location
- Keeping my warehouse organized and clean
- I would also help other departments pull items for their orders and help them organize and package and prepare inventory to be shipped out
- The end of the day with help, we would gather all the items and put them in the proper trucks to be shipped out
- I would use a forklift or a picker for a lot of the moving of heavy items when I could, I would do it by hand
- I am forklift and picker certified

- Then I would go check my truck do the pre-drive checklist which including making sure that the cargo was secured and the truck was safe to drive
- I would say it's more like being a delivery driver for Amazon
- However, for this company, average delivery packages size was well over 55lbs
- Driving box trucks 53 foot in length would also have to do deliveries for Pella window company
- All of the windows were extremely heavy
- The windows would have to be taken newly built homes
- I spent a lot of time driving in the mud and in the snow to make my deliveries
- I learned through this company how to move big objects safely and efficiently
- I use my time wisely and efficiently and I do not give up until the work is done
