Raised in a Christian Missionary Family, my childhood was filled with joy and inspiration. Alongside playing soccer, I aspired to follow in my father's footsteps as a pastor. However, the sudden departure from our home in Mexico brought deep pain, leaving me feeling lost and without purpose. This loss shattered my sense of belonging both physically and emotionally. As I embarked on a search for love and meaning, I encountered struggles with romantic relationships alongside physical and emotional addictions. These left me feeling empty and broken. Despite being involved in ministry, and having a deep love for God from a young age, this sense of brokenness persisted until a transformative moment during a Night of Worship when I was 16 years old. It was then that I surrendered to Jesus in a way that I hadn't before. I recognized the depth of my brokenness and the need for a Savior. This experience ignited within me a unique desire for belonging and purpose. Through God's healing touch and the guidance of mentors like Jonathan and Brandon, I discovered that I am found by a Father and formed in Family. Embracing a daily relationship with Jesus and other people in authentic community has truly transformed my life, allowing me to live in the abundance, affection, and adventure promised by God. Since this radical moment as a 16 year old, it's been a long journey of no longer striving to find my significance in what I do; instead, I simply embrace the truth that I am God's loved son without anything else, and that is enough. My heart's desire over the last few years because of this simplicity I've found in God's love has become to live life being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did.
