Being a Police explorer is all about Discipline, Respect, and Integrity. Founded on July 12, 1973, The program aims to introduce young people to careers in law enforcement by allowing them to explore the field through hands-on experience. Participants receive training in various aspects of law enforcement, including crowd control, traffic stops, situational awareness, community service events, and ride-alongs with officers on patrol. This all isn't just handed to us, we had to go through a strenuous academy which ultimately engraved in our young heads responsibility, discipline, honor and respect. You can rest assured that ANY explorer not just myself, will treat everyone with utmost respect, and be disciplined and responsible. We work with the community a lot and encounter all sorts of personalities and people alike.
