• Performs moderately difficult skilled tasks in storm water maintenance and construction activities on Manatee county's storm water drainage systems by means of cleaning ditches and culverts , pipes , catch basins ,installing drainage lines,box drains. Mowing canal banks and tops to keep brush, trees and grass from blocking water flow. Worked on multiple work orders each day to finish in a timely manner.
• Participated in ongoing training sessions to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

• Worked with Pipe Crew with flush trucks, Flushing blocked pipes ,dive way pipes, box drains to clear of sand or trash debris, used specialized pressure heads to flush pipes and root cutters to remove tree roots from water pipes. Dug up broken or damaged pipes with mini excavator to replace or patch with new ADS pipe sections to fix broken pipes with concrete cloth rapped collars. Ran remote controlled camera in pipes for inspections to locate damaged areas or hidden man hole lids.

Sprayed weed killer on all major and minor storm water canals all over manatee county to control weeds and brush growth in canals so water can flow with little to no restrictions clear blockages of brush or trash to ensure water flow, Mowed canal banks and tops to ensure ditches are visible to drive safely and to keep large brush and trees from growing on the banks that can damage and cause erosion to canal or fall into canal and create blockages.

• Optimized herbicide usage by accurately calibrating equipment, reducing waste and environmental impact.
• Cleaned and prepared equipment necessary for work.
• Collaborated with colleagues to troubleshoot issues, enhancing team performance and productivity.
• Used proper PPE and safety protocols for personal health and safety of other staff.
• Provided driving instructions to truck drivers to cover designated areas for spraying.
