  • Maintains all LAN/WAN/VPN network hardware and software, security systems, and communication links.
  • Manages all clients network LAN/WAN hardware including routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless networking equipment.
  • Supervises and performs nodal operations functions.
  • Supervises the installation, operation, deployment, provisioning, and maintenance of WIN-T nodal assemblages, combat NET radios, and all related COMSEC devices.
  • Disseminates network orders, compiles and submits operational statistics reports, and processes requests for logistic support.

Senior Transmission Systems Operator Maintainer

United States Army National Guard
  • Serves as a Senior Transmission Systems Operator and Maintainer in a Rotational Combined Arms Battalion assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division.
  • Supervises the integration of of the Battalion's tactical network using the WIN-T architecture including the installation, operation and maintenance on over 100 pieces pertaining to the command post node (CPN), satellite tactical terminal (STT), and the high capacity line-of-sight (HCLOS) radio set.

STT/CPN Team Chief

  • Serves as a Satellite Transmission Terminal (STT)/Command Post Node (CPN) Team Chief in support of the 1st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade.
  • Supervises, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots signal equipment for the CPN.
  • Provides technical assistance, unit level training for automation systems and automated telecommunications systems to include link installation and troubleshooting.
  • Prepares equipment and supply requests for platoon level signal support.
  • Responsible for the health and welfare of six Soldiers and their families.
  • Assists in the accountability and serviceability of consolidated resources and communications equipment valued in excess of $1,200,000.
