- Install high voltage cable systems ranging from 13.8 KV to 500 KV which requires specialized training and use of protective gear.
- Install and commission new substation, switchyard or switchgear equipment and replace existing equipment as needed. This includes installing and terminating new circuit breakers, relay panels, switchgear, DC battery banks for DC voltage, CCVT's, CT's, PT's, station service transformers and any other essential components crucial to the safe operation of a substation, switchyard or switchgear in refineries.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues within substations, or switchgear. Identify and repair problems to maintain the electrical grid.
- Respond to electrical emergencies such as equipment failure causing outages, storm restoration to restore power to electrical infrastructures caused by storms or wildlife.
