I have 2 different roles at my current job. I am a used car detailer and I am in charge of maintaining the equipment and minimizing down time when equipment breaks. I've been handling these positions for over 10 years at our shop. The detailing portion of this job require using chemicals correctly for what they are intended for safely around others and moving vehicles of varying size to different locations without incident. Attention to detail is a major part of this job and being able to handle equipment safely and efficiently so there are no accidents at the workplace. The maintenance portion of the job requires that I maintain the high volume vacuum system that runs 10 bays with 13 vac ports for the Eurovac system installed there. I am also tasked with maintaining the pressure washer pumps, drain system and other systems to keep the shop working efficiently. This is a diverse position that has covered many other processes over the years. Feel free to ask any other questions about my responsibilities in this job.

This job requires constant attention to make sure that repairs are done correctly and efficiently. Some repairs included in this job include engine and transmission replacements, welding/fabricating brackets and mounts as needed, headgasket replacements, tire rotations, fluid level checks and lubing correct areas when necessary, water pump replacement, fuel pump replacement, diagnosing causes of issues and correcting them as needed to slow or prevent future wear, these are some tasks handled in the 22 years while working on my own and on customer vehicles.

• Coordinated with staff and customers to ensure timely delivery of required parts for repairs or installations.
• Inspected parts for defects, removing damaged parts, and replacing with new ones.
• Utilized computer systems proficiently for order processing, inventory management, and reporting purposes.
