Leadership roles throughout my military career:

• Platoon Sergeant (20+ Marines)

As a Platoon Sergeant my duties were to communicate daily objectives and assign workload to squad leaders. Ensure marines were accounted for and held the Marine Corps standard policies everyday.

• Squad Leader (5 Marines)

Squad Leader is a small team leader that is given tasks from the platoon sergeant to complete. You are to delegate the work to your team, oversee the work and instruct/coach your marines with all tasks.

• Maintenance Supervisor (10+ Marines)

Delegate the daily, monthly and quarterly maintenance items as needed on all gear. This roles purpose is to be knowledgeable on all gear and understand the required maintenance actions needed.

Daily work in this position:

• Diagnose, repair and inspect issues related to low and medium voltage switch gear, automatic transfer switches, generators, breakers, realy protection devices, cables and standard troubleshooting practices.
• Perform site shutdowns lead a small crew to test transformers, ATS's, low/medium voltage gear and switchgear related items.

• Executed oil changes, coolant flushes, megger testing, load bank operation, engine rebuilds and diagnoses to ensure optimal engine performance.
• Maintained engines including diesel, gas, and natural gas types.
• Diagnosed and resolved controller issues impacting genset functionality, enhancing reliability of operations.
• Perform standard oil changes, coolant flushes, megger testing, load bank operation, engine rebuilds and engine diagnoses.
• At this time, gained vast knowledge of all equipment involved to transfer and diagnose issues pertaining to ATS's and gensets. This led me to the Advance Electrical Services role.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair shop rental equipment such as Sullair air compressors, Atlas Copco air compressors, 20kW-2000kW generators, Almond Heaters, air dryers, swap coolers, air conditioning units and humidifiers.
• Assumed shop field service responsibilities to improve customer support for rental equipment. to fix the rental equipment in the field.
• Traveled independently across Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska to restore customer operations, demonstrating trust, communication, and technical skills, which facilitated progression to Preventive Maintenance/Field Service roles.
