- Charting, plotting, and navigating courses up to 160 miles with multiple docks, changing winds, and tides in extreme weather conditions. Proficient in docking, beaching, anchoring, Navigation, safety inspections.

- Collaborated with St Johns Riverkeeper to conduct river cleanups and water quality testing during 2-4 day excursions from Sanford to Jacksonville, facilitating docking at hotels and restaurants along the route.
- Educated public and government employees on wildlife, natural habitats, and the St John's River watershed through partnerships with various organizations, including native plant societies, Audubon societies, and universities.
- I became an expert on fish, birds, wildlife, history, vegetation, foliage, etc. I observed manatee, alligator, turtle, frog, deer, bear and over 150 species of birds that call the St. John's river home nesting, mating, eating, birthing habits for over a decade.
