I participated in the Alamo Regional Science Fair for 3 years straight. Participating in these competitions, I proved to surpass expectations and took high placements in the competitions, making it to Texas State Championships. This experience taught me how to pitch an idea and product properly to any range of people from all backgrounds. It also helped me understand the importance of structure and accountability in the workplace.
I have researched the biodegradation of Atrazine using a bacterium known as Pseudomonas Putida from 2017-2020. In this project I was a co-researcher, experimental planner, and analyst. Entering this project honed my skills in presentation and analysis, further teaching me on
how to approach situations dealing with delicate situations in a precise manner.
