- Entrusted to take care, entertain, and provide comfort for a group of kids. Typically, I will supervise anywhere from 2 to 30 kids with a couple of other staff members.
- My role as a YDP is primarily focused on creating and implementing programs and activities that promote the positive development and success of the Club members.
- I also have to use communication skills in order to explain an activity in a way that can keep the kids engaged and excited about the up coming activity
- I was also in charge of promotional activities such as spirit weeks, fundraisers, in club events (lip sync battle, talent show, and preteen parties) as well as getting other staff and club members excited about it.
- Developed and implemented educational activities fostering teamwork and leadership skills.

- I have helped maintain the parks of my community and had the opportunity to help bring back some wildlife that was no longer coming to the area.
