• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help patients with eating and drinking.
• Assist with mobility: turning, repositioning, and transferring patients from beds to wheelchairs, or gurneys.
• Take and record vital signs: temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Monitor input and output (e.g., food intake, urine output).
• Report changes in a patient's physical or emotional condition to nurses, or doctors.
• Assist nurses with medical procedures when needed.
• Keep patients' living areas clean and organized.
• Ensure bed linens are changed and tidy.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Document patient care activities in charts or electronic systems.
• Communicate effectively with the nursing team, and other healthcare staff.
• Follow proper infection control procedures (hand hygiene, using PPE).
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed to prevent falls, or injuries.
