Summary

  • I have been involved in the Petro, Chemical, and Power industries for over 16 years and have developed a broad knowledge in Grass Roots Projects, Offshore Platforms, Refineries, Power Plants, and Chemical Plants. I have worked in the quality aspect since 2014 after receiving my AWS-CWI national certification, my responsibilities have included the following.
  • Implementation of quality control procedures as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Inspector.
  • Monitor day to day construction activities to identify any quality, construction, or safety concerns.
  • Ensure that welding compliance and integrity is in accordance with proper codes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule NDE requirements in accordance with proper codes, procedures, and site specifications.
  • Perform daily visual inspections of mechanical, structural, and equipment components.
  • Monitor installation and Testing of HDPE piping.
  • Witness pump staging, soft foots, alignments, and various pump stages of pump maintenance.
  • Witness grouting procedures including roughness, shim elevations, forming, and pours.
  • Perform visual inspection of mechanically completed piping systems to ensure cleanliness, support verification, pre-hydrostatic test verification, and completion for restoration/pre commissioning purposes.
  • Monitor and sign off on hydrostatic testing on equipment and piping system packages.
  • Monitor torquing on equipment and piping as required per codes and project specifications.
  • Review piping packages for system turnover purposes to ensure all documentation conforms to client and project specification.
  • Perform piping and equipment walkdowns for sketching and red lined as-built packages.
  • Perform piping and equipment walkdowns to generate work packages for contractors per submitted repair plans and work requests by plant personnel and inspection groups.
  • Familiar with codes ASME B31.1, B31.3, B16.5, SEC VIII, SEC IX
  • Prior to receiving a CWI, I have over (6) years' experience in welding and fabrication of various structures, piping, and alloys. Welding experiences include SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW.
  • Plenty experience with pneumatic testing .
  • Basics knowledge with coatings and jeep testing .Compressors and pipe line experience
