Managing stress as an inside wiremen:

While Working as an electrician I often find my self in stressful situations and even in a dangerous environment where serious injury and or death is likely probable. More often than not, I'm working at great heights of 20 feet or higher with unstable platforms, as well as working within the building ceiling where its crowded with pre installed applications, exposed electrical wires and a surface that is one mistake away from falling through the ceiling. These variables makes for a stressful situation when working in those elements. With my experience, I've come to be adept with stress management. I have the ability to maintain level headed thinking and to make sound judgment decisions while still being able to perform my job duties effectively to my best ability.

Obtaining a secuirty clearance and upholding all security policies:

As an Electrical Inside Wireman at Sky Harbor International Airport, I am not only responsible for performing my core job duties but also for upholding strict security protocols. This includes maintaining my security clearance by adhering to all airport policies and ensuring the proper safeguarding of hazardous tools and restricted areas. The facility is equipped with advanced security measures that limit access to dangerous tools, secure rooms, staircases, and elevators—allowing entry only to personnel with the appropriate level of clearance.

Analyzing information and making prompt decisions:

I have consistently demonstrated the ability to rapidly analyze information and make prompt, effective decisions in high-pressure environments. Whether conducting detailed hourly quality checks, troubleshooting machinery issues, or performing detailed diagnostics, I quickly assess situations and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. For example, while managing a high-speed production line with hundreds of bottles of milk moving rapidly through the system, my machine would occasionally crash due to bottle congestion. In these moments, I consistently analyzed the issue in real time, troubleshooting the root cause until the machine was fully operational again. While addressing the malfunction, I also communicated efficiently through team radios to keep everyone informed. When necessary, I promptly took control of the situation by coordinating a full production line shutdown to prevent product damage and minimize overall system disruption. My ability to learn complex machinery and interfaces along with being selected for advanced Krones training in Milwaukee, reflects my aptitude for fast, informed decision-making. This skill also enabled me to support fellow technicians in real time, ensuring seamless operations across shifts.
