• Read Iso’s and P&ID’s to determine the area location of heat trace installation
• Set up 45kva transformers for new panels
• Help lead designer create panel schedule balancing the phases in the panel per amperage of circuits.
• Commission panels with client getting startup amps, voltage in panel and in the field to verify voltage drop.
• Troubleshoot any issues with heat trace or power cables
• Guide painters by showing them which lines needed paint before installing heat trace.
• Coordinate with scaffold builders to get platforms where we needed to install conduit/heat trace

• Examined electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation.
• Studied structural schematics to determine location of wiring and equipment.
