  • Disassembled, inspected, performed maintenance, and reassembled diesel generators using diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot the issue including multi-meters. Once fault was found, used wiring schematics and diagrams to determine what the issue was and how to fix it.
  • Replaced voltage regulators and circuit cards, wiring harnesses, alternators, adjusted frequency and voltages. performed and sustainment level maintenance on stationary and mobile power plants, generally up to 200KW
  • Served as the Maintenance Supervisor of the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and was responsible of the overall management of the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of over 200 pieces of power generation and wheeled equipment
  • Assisted in training new soldiers on general knowledge of generator parts such as air filter cartridges, spark plugs and basic maintenance items using the tool-manual generator book.
  • Experienced with the safe handling and transport of hazardous materials such as oils, fuels, and anti freeze. Used equipment such as drip pans, spill kits, dry sweep, and protective tarps tp mitigate hazardous contamination.
  • Used mobile and stationary Tactical Power Plant Systems to provide and distribute electricity effectively to power equipment to the Tower of Communications (TOC), Living Quarters and Dining Facilities in domestic and overseas rural areas to keep standards of procedure operational
  • Also have Forklift/ Bobcat experience, used on a weekly basis to lift and move equipment and utilities as needed
  • Plenty of experience driving and moving heavy equipment, even in long durations such as 3 day convoys behind the wheel with no accidents
