- Responsible for providing facility/equipment, cleaning, and sanitation, manufacturing operation setup, in support of manufacturing and GMP-regulated areas
- Complete all work to assure minimal impact to production while complying with SOP's, cGMP and Amgen regulations
- Perform the cleaning/sanitation/floor care of the manufacturing areas and equipment
- Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working inventory for the equipment/supplies that the team is responsible for
- Ensure and may review operational paperwork, daily logs, files, and work order documentation is completed per SOP's
- Participate in a detailed training program in order to develop one's knowledge in the cleaning and other areas of the plant
- Complete all work in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and Amgen policies
- Plan and schedule own work activities with production staff to minimize impact to production activities
- Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas
- Assist in the evaluation of the current cleaning procedures/equipment and recommend changes to optimize the cleaning program
- Assist in the Preventative Maintenance and daily activities of the facility and equipment
- Lead responsibilities within the work team
- Act as a resource/trainer for EST's
- Monitor supplies and chemicals as needed, which includes weekly and monthly inventories and ensuring minimum and maximum levels
- Lead a staff and communicate effectively, train and monitor work activities of the cleaning and sanitation team to maximize personnel safety and working group efficiency
- Report work performance and compliance concerns to the Supervisor
- Ensure the team is following the cleanliness of the GMP facility in accordance with Cleaning and Sanitation SOPs and deliver corrective feedback and follow up promptly
- Assist the Supervisor in performing regular building inspections regarding cleaning and sanitization activities
- Ensure the assigned staff followed the process to remove trash, garbage from facilities, and place them in proper recycling system
- Responsible to participate in cycle counting and inventory of cleaning and sanitization supplies to maintain inventory levels for timely reordering
- Coordinates or escalate to the appropriate personnel the ordering general sanitization supplies
- Trained associated with GMP cleaning for job responsibility familiarity
- Use and comply with proper procedures (EHS) and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Responsible for documenting and entering data into GMP forms
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Direct support to Component Prep Area
