- Conduct SWCL’s during PreShift Walk and identify any barriers left from previous shift
- Look at foresight volume projection and staff an appropriate number of AA’s in each lane while not understaffing nor overstaffing to ensure the maximum productivity from the AA’s
- Labor track any indirect role AA’s I have and clear any remaining black bar still left over
- Look at the handoff notes from previous shift and identify any barrier AA’s and myself may face during shift and remove them
- Look at Grafana / foresight every 10-15 minutes to ensure staffing in each lane is up to par with the volume that will come down the lane within the next 30 minutes
- Completely walk around the whole ship dock area and complete an AUSTIN audit daily and ensure we’re keeping our area within safety standard as preventive measure to adhere to the safety of the all AA’s within our area
- Identify the AA’s who are struggling with rate and identify any barriers they’re facing and coach in the areas they need the most help in
- Ensure every sort has a mirror allocated to the correct stacking filter
- Look at foresight and ensure all WIPS (work in progress) for each lane is evenly distributed to avoid any recirc which can cause a jam upstairs and eventually cost us volume lost for the shift
- If a WIPS spikes ensure more allocation are created and once a sort dies out ensure the extra allocation are taken off to create more space for other sorts that may spike within in the next 10 minutes
- Prepare for EOS by conducting an EOS walk and remove any barriers the next shift may face and everything is within 5s, note down anything that may be out of standard so the next Process Assistant can resolve the issue quickly.

- Identify any incoming reactives ( items that are customer orders and have a time which needs to be stowed and picked by in order to meet customer expectations) and place them in the most beneficial area in order to meet SLA expectation
- Identify the AA’s who are struggling with rate and identify any barriers they’re facing and help them remove it.

- Place the next group of trailers in order with CUT ( critical unload time ) compliance to ensure JFK8 continues to be number one site in the network
- Ensure all floor PA’s and AM’s are updating me with their buffer every 30 minutes if they’re within standard work range ( 8- 12)
- 20 minutes if running dry (1-8) and every 10 minutes if completely negative (-1+)
- Ensure Sesame Gate is constantly being updated with any incoming reactives attached to current available dock door
- Ensure my pit drivers are IDRT’ing any sap pallets being unloaded to the correct DropZone area
- Ensure my RSR team is being productive and ensuring Trex is in standard along with being able to stow at least 5% of the ETI target for the shift
- Scrub the yard every 2 hours along with updating NYR for any missing and/or trailer with no vrid in order to bring to the door to fix or submit TT to get it flipped to our site or get delivered to the correct Site
- Clean up any NIWoods or NIUPP into a trailer to avoid any overflowing of woods and/or tops and bottoms which can create a safety hazard
- Prepare the yard for EOS, place all the trailers on doors that are next in CUT compliance
- Update Sesame with the incoming reactives aligned with available dock doors
- Ensure everything is within 5s
- Complete EOS Wash (all trailers completed within the shift in detail).
