I am a passionate consumer of literature, both historical and contemporary. In addition, I enjoy reading memoirs and biographies. Since retiring I have been attending exercise classes at the Live Well Program,as well as, yoga and water aerobics. My husband and I enjoy hiking the magnificient trails in southern Utah with friends. Several days a week I attend classes at Dixie State University"s Institute for Continued Learning. Some of the classes I have attended( by Zoom and in class,) have included Geology, The Rise of China, Psychology, Yoga, Belly Dancing and Current Events.
Now, that I have more leisure time, I am trying new recipes and techniques, though not always successfully, This coming fall I am volunteering to teach an ethnic cooking class through the local University's senior education program.
During Covid-19, I tutored my 2 grandchildren, then in first and fourth grade via Zoom, as they live 3,000 miles away.
