I am interested in a job where I can leverage my experience in the behavioral health system. I want to work with adults and children who struggle with mental health issues, self-esteem, family trauma, and other related issues like substance abuse. I also enjoy working with children and recognizing their issues (when traumatized), confusion, fear, self-doubt, and trouble developing a healthy view of themselves, and seeing a positive outcome. I want to help adults and children reach their full potential by empowering them with positive encouragement to find the coping skills and recovery process that work best for them.

Assistant, Cave Creek, 1988, 1989, Assistant for Fiesta Days Parade in Cave Creek. I helped register entrants for the parade, assigned positions, organized the lineup, secured judges and trophies, and performed various other duties related to the annual parade. Number of entrants in 1989 was 170.
Member, 1989, 1991, Member of Hands Across the Border committee. Traveled to Mexico with the school district to preview small town for exchange of our students with theirs. I worked with Mexican and American officials as a member of the committee to facilitate an exchange.
Assistant, Cave Creek, 1992, 1995, Assistant for The Midnight Madness Program in Cave Creek. This program was a joint program between Cave Creek Schools, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, and Foothills Community Foundation that provided a safe place on Fridays and Saturdays for the teens in this small town to go have fun playing sports, video games or just a place they could safely come and hang out with their friends. We provided dinner and beverages on both nights. This program's goal was to keep teens off drugs and from getting into trouble on weekends. This was becoming a huge problem due to Cave Creek being such a small town and teens not having any place to go on weekends.
