Dance educator and tenured employee at Newport Restaurant Group, Proven ability to work with all age groups and backgrounds. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships within the community.
I teach dance to middle school and high school age students lyrical and jazz dance. I work at the studio where I grew up dancing. I teach them how to improve their technical skills as well their body/mind connection. They compete in a number of competitions, town events, and an annual recital in June. It is the studio I grew up dancing at, so it holds a close place in my heart.
I have worked my way up at the Mooring from college to 2020 as a busser, food runner and then server before moving to Bar Cino where I have worked since July of 2020 as a bartender and server. I am fully-vested in the company (I have worked 800 hours/year for 6 years consistently) and have full-time benefits (medical and dental).
As backstage crew we managed dancer check-ins, organized backstage areas, and ensured the show runs on time. Key requirements include weekend travel (Friday-Monday), mandatory training in January, and a commitment to professional and enthusiastic customer service.
I grew up doing gymnastics from age 5-18. I went on to coach the competitive gymnastics team post-college as well as run the gymnastics program for the summer camp. Duties included: Scheduling and directing staff, coordinating the daily schedule of events for 60 campers age 5-16, emailing parents, etc.
