I had the opportunity to shadow an Equine Veterinarian in Lexington Kentucky from the end of December to the end of January, then again for 2 weeks in March for my spring vacation.

• Shadowed Equine Veterinarian, maintaining accurate records from each Thoroughbred farm.
• Administered vaccines and assisted in Thoroughbred breeding sheds, where I learned about semen evaluation, mare insemination and more.

• Answered client calls, scheduled appointments, and maintained sanitation.
• Provided support in post-appointment cleaning and room setup

At Thorncroft I assisted with the care of horses before and after rides. I was responsible for:

• Assisting with horse care and ensuring children's safety during riding lessons.
• Maintained stable cleanliness and inspected horses for health issues.

For my senior project in high school, I was given the opportunity to shadow multiple veterinarians and technicians at Stoney Creek Animal Hospital.

• Shadowed veterinarians, attended appointments (both in the office and at homes), and assisted in procedures.
• Contributed to laboratory work, including collecting blood samples and urinalysis.

• Walked and exercised dogs, ensuring their well-being during owner absences.
• Monitored children's safety, fostering a creative and safe environment.
• Taught good manners by setting clear behavior expectations.

• Efficiently delivered orders with quality presentation.
• Maintained beverage cart cleanliness and followed safety protocols.
• Upheld high customer service standards during fast-paced operations

I worked as a part-time stylist at Kendra Scott. I learned how to work in retail and how to help a wide range of customers with their needs.

• I honed in on my customer service skills and adapted to various needs.
• Covered shifts, demonstrating flexibility in a high-pressure retail environment.
