Seeing a need for compassionate, skilled educators, I secured an Education Specialist teaching Credential for the Mild to Moderately disabled. Concurrently with the Education Specialist Credential, I enrolled in a class to secure a Single Subject Credential to teach Spanish, in which I am bilingual.
As an Education Specialist, I initiated Student Progress Conferences in the form of IEPs- Conducted conferences with parents, administrators, testing specialists and social workers to discuss educational plans designed to promote my students' educational/social development. I employed Gardners' diverse methods of learning (neurodiversity), and Morris's techniques for classroom management, to encourage student learning and build community within the classroom.
I am a certified/credentialed Teacher with a BCLAD/Spanish, Single Subject/Spanish and an Education Specialist, M/M.
