Accomplishments

Starting my quest to achieve my educational goals, I graduated in eleventh grade in the top two percent of my class. I continued my journey to secure a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish, then a BCLAD/Spanish Emphasis Teaching Credential. Seeing a need for compassionate, skilled educators, I secured an Education Specialist teaching Credential for the Mild to Moderately disabled. Concurrently with the Education Specialist Credential, I enrolled in a class to secure a Single Subject Credential to teach Spanish, in which I am bilingual.

As an Education Specialist, I initiated Student Progress Conferences in the form of IEPs- Conducted conferences with parents, administrators, testing specialists and social workers to discuss educational plans designed to promote my students' educational/social development. I employed Gardners' diverse methods of learning (neurodiversity), and Morris's techniques for classroom management, to encourage student learning and build community within the classroom.
