- Scheduler for the following cancer related diagnosis: Ultrasound, CT Scans, Colonoscopy, EGD's, Mammograms, MRI's of various body parts depending on what the drs are looking for, infusion/treatment times, lab work, education classes, EKG's, PET Scans, port placements and removals, echocardiograms Scheduling heparin flushes
- All according to drs orders and schedules
- Also schedules referrals to ENT, OBGYN, Neuro, Plastic surgery, Dermatology and possibly having to coordinate with other hospitals to coordinate more care for pts depending on location of patient to closer hospital in their town so they can end up getting the best care for their needs at the Cancer center
- We also schedule for arthritis, anemia, IVIG infusions
- We are more than a cancer center, we provide infusions for many short term illnesses also
- December and June-responsible for schedulers daily according to needs of the drs daily schedule
- Also am responsible for tracking the amount of appts missed and canceled in the oncology department and radiology department
