  • We bring 10 lesson coding bootcamps to afterschool programs in underserved groups across LA.

  • Am responsible for teaching one hour classes at all of the major exhibits in the California Science Center.
  • Depending on the exhibit I am stationed in, I teach topics such as Brains, Ecosystems in Urban LA, Californian Costal creatures, The Endeavor shuttle, or Fire safety and physics.
  • Every work day, I am responsible for facilitating and presenting a House Fire Simulation Show and/or a Kelp Forest Exploration Show to large venues of visitors.
  • I led and mentored new educators to train them on all the responsibilities listed above.

  • Also, we identified the larger issue of high concentrations of litter in low income neighborhoods across LA, and we organized people to solve the problem.
  • Attracted strong leaders for the organization, and we structured a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Led the strategic planning process and meetings to define organization goals and ensure alignment across all groups.
  • We enhanced school aesthetics with plants and greenery, and improved safety with door curtains for shooter drills and directional arrows for emergency escapes.
  • Also, We picked up a total of 900 lb of trash from 10 park/beach clean ups across LA's underserved communities.
