Supports Anesthesia Residents, SRNAs and clinical professors by applying knowledge and experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Maintain Anesthesia equipment and supplies, assist with intubations, prepares sterile field for invasive line monitoring and assists providers with procedures.

Assembling, setting up, and maintaining equipment, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and readily available.

Assisting and setting up equipment and supplies for NORA Adult/Pediatric cases. Assist Anesthesia provider during induction and while patient is emerging from general anesthesia.

Assisting with operating room turn overs and collaborating with the surgical team.

Supports Anesthesiologist and surgical team during complex cardiac procedures. Prepare and set up invasive monitoring for cardiac and transplant cases. Prepares equipment and monitors for transport. Assist in transporting the patient from the OR to the CVICU/ICU unit.

Clean and prepare anesthesia machine/equipment for next case. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.

Assist with EKG leads, pulse ox, and blood pressure monitors.
