• I volunteered with the Neuroscience club to teach young students in grades 6-8 about Neuroscience. Through a well-rehearsed presentation, hands on activities, and working in both a leadership position and in small groups, I was able to help students learn and gain interest about Neuroscience, while offering them advice for their next steps when entering high school and continuing to pursue their interests.
• I volunteered for Glamour Gals Club, visiting different nursing homes and building a closer community with the seniors. While speaking to seniors one on one and learning about their many interests, I painted their nails and helped create an experience they enjoyed and looked forward to. Apart from visiting, I also drew, wrote, and colored in handmade cards for different holidays to send out to different nursing homes!
• As the selected CEO of my Virtual Enterprise class, I worked in the highest leadership position to lead my class to create a smooth running business where each department ran their jobs as intended, exceeding our goals for the year.
