Jun Jae Kang

I am a passionate student at Virginia Tech, majoring in Computational Modeling and Data Analytics and minoring in Statistics. My deep interest in data science is complemented by my proficiency in organizing project data and deriving insights, supported by a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. I have maintained a GPA of 3.8, earning a spot on the Dean's List, showcasing my academic commitment and excellence.

Having attended elementary school in the U.S. and returned as a student representative for an exchange program in high school, I possess a unique international perspective and cultural adaptability.

I am skilled in various programming languages and data analysis tools, including Python, Java, C, SQL, and R. This expertise enables me to efficiently manage the entire process of data collection and analysis. My proactive nature in problem-solving allows me to quickly identify and address challenges within projects. I pride myself on being honest and not afraid to ask questions, a trait that I believe is crucial for continuous learning and improvement.

My profound interest in data science, big data, machine learning, and AI drives my ambition. Post-graduation, I plan to pursue further studies in machine learning and data engineering at graduate school, deepening my expertise in these fields.
