  • I have held various positions in the Oilfield Started as a roustabout digging trenches and installing pipe eventually moving up to a Floorhand where I was in charge of keeping up with inventory of pipe, valves and fittings for the rig Tool pusher recognized my ability to converse with co-workers and vendors and recommended me for an inside sales position which I held for several years before eventually moving to an outside sales position

Accomplishments

I started my outside sales position in charge of 1 company, JW Operating which at the time was one of our biggest accounts. I was able to take the knowledge I learned and gain other accounts thru cold calling, word of mouth and persistence. I eventually amassed close to 50 accounts that I was in charge of. 1 account I’m particularly proud of is Penn Virginia which I gained through cold calling and turned it into a $5 million dollar a month account.

I took pride in helping smaller operations and helping them compete with larger companies through aggressive pricing, stock availability and connections I’ve made over the years.

I also expanded my knowledge by reading everything on our products I could get my hands on and attending several trading classes and conventions.
