Justin Humphries

As a Davison Road CCA employee, I'm known for my hard work and dedication. My willingness and hunger to learn; as well as my happiness and patience to teach. I feel honored being the person my co-workers along with my boss come to for help. My dedication is shown in the amount of hours i work.

In 2020 during the middle of the pandemic, my wife and i decided to take a leap of faith. With no business experience or guidance, we decided to purchase an abandoned 3 unit building in down town Swartz Creek. Over the next 9 months we completely gutted and rebuilt the first 3,500 sqft unit completely by ourself, all while still working our full time jobs. With no "real" building experience, and no business experience, Against the Grain Hair Lounge opened for business in may 2021. I currently employ 13 employees. We are a cornerstone business for the city of Swartz Creek. We sponsor and participate in many events throughout the city. It isn't always easy and we are constantly ruining into issues, but with my hard work, dedication, and my willingness to learn, we have built something im proud of.
