My background started in welding and fabrication. I was then selected to become shop manager where I excelled. I worked my way up from the bottom to the top of my trade. I was then recruited for a job in Kentucky where I became the 2nd shift manager for Qualex Link Belt location. I then was promoted to 1st shift manager. My company than purchased a new company Advantech Bakery Technologies where I was asked to be the lead man on the floor after a few years I was offered the plant manager job which I excelled at. All and all I started at the bottom and worked my way to the top.
As Plant manager I was responsible for day to operations. My functions were working with the customer base hand in hand daily. I was highly involved in ordering of all purchase parts and hardware for all jobs. I would go through all blueprints to check for any errors or discrepancies. I was also in charge of all equipment installs which took me all over the country. I also built all the new prototype jobs we had from fabricating them all the way to finished product. I was also in charge of loading all the trucks and shipping of all materials.
My main function was to ensure all the shop members were staying on task and meeting our deadlines. I also assisted in the majority of all projects. I drove and operated heavy equipment and installed new components on the equipment so that they would better fit the company needs.
My job was to build custom car exhaust system for classic and new vehicles. My function was to prototype new product for the company. I also worked on a number of goverment contract job's for various military vehicles.
I am certified in all types of welding. I also have my Manitowoc certifications for crane and boom inspection. I am very skilled in the operation of heavy machinery and equipment. I have been to school for metals inspection and die penetrant testing and magnetic particle testing. I have a lot of field experience such as field repair and or equipment installation. I have been through Advanced aluminum alloy training. I have been through Dale Carnegie schooling in all subjects.
