Over the past year I have served as a substitute teacher with Kelley Services in Horry County, where I gain hands-on experience guiding students across grade levels, following lesson plans, and maintaining a positive, orderly classroom atmosphere. I approach each assignment with patience and flexibility, quickly building rapport with students and establishing routines that keep lessons on track. My background as a church musician — playing drums regularly with a small ensemble — has strengthened my ability to lead groups, encourage participation, and connect with people through structure and enthusiasm.

In addition, with my strong communication and organizational skills, I am able to ensure continuity of instruction and accurate record-keeping.
