Raised on a farm, I was taught the need for a strong work ethic and pushed to strive for academic excellence. Having a strong ability to learn and unique gift with mathematics combined with farm work and equipment repair throughout my life, Ive aquired a strong diverse set of skills with machinery and equipment. I greatly enjoy working with machinery, troubleshooting and repair. My interests are bold in design, engineering, and innovation. My wishes are to continue education for a mechanical engineering degree while having hands on experience in work.

  • Loaded and delivered and delivered materials to jobsites prior to construction and assured all materials were onsite for construction
  • Measured and fabricated some materials to match needs of project. Performed installation of customer requested special materials and assured customer satisfaction
  • Operated all terain forlift/sky track and hydraulic jack system as needed
  • Installed special components of bins that required field drill, cutting with oxycetalene torch and welding: i.edrying fans, stairways, center sump and auger system

  • Installed tool and dye into production machines and made adjustments to assure correct size, weight and density of powdee metal parts
  • Set up and performed daily maintenance on machinery and performed visual inspections of machines for any damaged or worn parts or preventitive maintainance issues
  • Read blue prints and ensured specifications were met
  • Performed troubleshooting on machines to determine malfunction of proper operatilons. Determine issues causing malfunction and disassemble machinery and replace any damaged or worn parts. Sometimes this might require some engineering and fabrication of a temporary fix that would allow the machine to run to assure production until a new part could be ordered and delivered.
  • I was really good at this job having a certain set of skills and education that would help me to quickly analyze and determine mechanical problems
  • Saved costs and downtime by implementing a step during setups. This step assured proper alignment of tool and die preventing much wear and/or tool chip/breakage
