Justin Palmer

Responsible for overseeing the entire integrated process of the Sidel Combi bottling machine. Set up and operations- start, stop, monitor the automated process. Production control- ensure the machine operates at the correct speed to meet production targets. Troubleshooting -identify and respond to machine errors and alarms, adjusting and resolving issues to minimize downtime. Documentation -maintain accurate production records. In-process checks - perform routine visual inspections of bottles, caps, and fill levels. Sampling, material integrity, preventive maintenance, changeovers, coordinate with Technicians.

Utility Floater

Responsible for floating within the following positions:

Packer - Forklift, manage line checking for quality of bottles, replace trays and wrap. Check quality of cases. Manage changeovers, rethreading wrap when needed.

Sleever - ensure rolls are replaced, ensure roll splice from roll to roll is perfect, check for kick out bottles, manage changeovers.

Palletizer Operator - monitor palletizer to ensure every thing passes perfectly, change wrap rolls, swapping out slip sheets. Manager Changeovers.

MCE - Forklift, switching bins for each line, removing left over bins, move product to warehouse. Swapping out bins from Combi.

Responsible for controlling the length variations of each corrugated box for the Module Facer, Double Backer and Stacker. Keep my co-workers informed of each scheduled run on each machine and how much paper they have remaining on each roll. Check orders throughout the day to keep all machines running in a timely manner. Keep up to date with scheduling and advise Clamp Truck Drivers of any changes. Check scheduled orders for accuracy. Complete quality checks on completed product.

Double Backer

Responsible running the double-backer including setup, and operations. Set up bridge guides and glue station in accordance with proper setup techniques. Adjust during runs for tension, alignment, adhesion, and warp control. Remove roll stock from the machine and mark the proper size, grade, diameter, and lineal footage on the roll and place core plugs in each end of the buttrolls. Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the Double-Backer at available capacity and speed in line with the corrugator.

Module Facer Machine Operator

Responsible for running the single facer to produce the highest level of production and quality. Put rolls of paper in mill roll stands ensuring proper size and grade of paper to be run and make splices and paper changes as necessary. Continuously monitor the board during runs to ensure quality and adjust as necessary. Clean starch pan, glue roll and single-facer area after changing flutes.

Stacker

Responsible for all activities associated with stacking sheets from the corrugators including setup, operation, and cleanup. Count and verify unit and inch counts of units. Operate corrugator conveyor lines and unitizer. Adhere to production schedule. Restack, flip stack, and handband units as necessary.
