• Send ready communications for all outbound loads.
• Ensure that 25 to 50 loads depart on time each day, while following up with carriers in the event that they do not.
• Coordinate with the outbound team to ensure that we have the correct number of loads for all direct lanes, cancelling and surging as required.
• Assist the outbound team in providing projections.
• Perform and verify regular yard audits to keep our records up to date.
• Ensure that drivers have access to their BOLs, and handwrite or reprint them if necessary.
• Log outgoing trailers in Excel.
• Organize signed copies of all outgoing BOLs.
• Communicate clearly with carriers.
• Prepare packets for both live unloads and drops.
• Coordinate with the inbound, maintenance, and QA teams on various aspects of our incoming loads.
• Inform all live drivers of our unloading procedures and safety protocols.
• Finalizing receivers in GLS, and filling out stamps for drop BOLs.

This was my introduction to the workforce as an adult, and I am still very passionate about the industry. I've had a hand in several large scale productions in Ohio. Due to the gig-to-gig style scheduling; I am still able to participate during my off days.

• Install audio, video, and lighting systems in a variety of venues.
• Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot any issues related to the setup or operation of equipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment from trailers.
• Stay on high alert watching out for any potential safety hazards for fellow hands and performers.
• Communicate clearly with my leadership and fellow hands to keep the show moving.
• Retain a high level of professionalism while dealing directly with clients in all settings.
• Work at a fast pace to meet strict deadlines.

• Prioritize lanes, and assign loaders to doors.
• Ensure that all trailers meet load quality requirements.
• Use YMS to move trailers in and out from the doors, verifying them upon arrival.
• Inspect trailers for damages, or systematic inconsistencies.
• Open trailers in GLS.
• Assist management in tracking on-time ship for all packages on the current ESD.
• Calling out potential 'ghost picks' for re-pick/pack.
• Troubleshoot problem labels.
• Perform yard audits, as well as train associates on the yard audit process.
• Keep the sorter running, and call maintenance when necessary.
• Communicate clearly with the team in order to keep 35,000 to 55,000 units flowing steadily each day.
• Track all lanes' critical pull times, and close trailers on time.
