Earned a place on the Dean's honor list my final two semesters while both working full time and taking courses full time

After years of struggle, I have found a commitment to my education that I formerly could not realize. I am now trying to find a firm footing on a path towards higher education and surrounding myself with peers who might inspire my unyielding goals of becoming a published writer while teaching concurrently.

I have received advice from those I venerate as writers that the best fiction writers have jobs in fields that do not force their hand into technical/analytical writing. I have chosen to be a bartender as a multitude of my character studies have come from the observation of those that may see me as a partial therapist while we occupy different sides of the same counter. I am also an avid runner and have been a part of mixed martial arts gyms. These and cooking are, to me, immense stress relievers that allow my creativity to take the reigns.
