· Each year I assist with annual physical inventory, and I play a key role in getting the inventory completed.

• Routinely check supply areas for products near expirations and if they are expired, we add them to an expired list.
• Place orders that are both routine and specialty products, coordinating shipment with buyers.
• Received and stocks supplies and implants daily while Utilizes Workday, and/or Pyxis materials management programs.
• Manages OR supply inventory as assigned by reviewing storage areas and usage daily.
• Produce bill-only requisitions as applicable.
• Maintain consignments as well as bill and replace items kept in the OR
• Communicate with OR staff concerning back orders and assists with finding suitable substitutions when possible.
• Assists and comply with product conversions.
• Communicate essential information to Supervisor/Manager. Coordinates the departmental operations in the absence of Supervisor/Manager.
• Assists with recalls.
• Maintains organized receiving area.
• Knowledgeable and capable of filling in for a teammate, as necessary.
• Processes order returns as necessary.
• Interacts and communicates with OR staff, Supply Chain buyers, Vendors, Surgeon’s, and Management to facilitate needed supplies/instruments in a positive and supportive manner.
• Maintains departmental phone to expedite supplies and respond to clinical staff needs.

• Oversaw inventory management processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with health regulations.
• Trained and mentored staff on best practices for inventory tracking and management.
• Coordinated with departments to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels.
• Decreased inventory shrinkage through diligent monitoring, security measures, and employee training on loss prevention practices.
• Reduced stock discrepancies with thorough audits of physical inventory.

• Distribute supplies and equipment to all dept in the hospital.
• Responsible for inventorying, re-stocking and maintaining all the specialty carts including code blue carts and urology carts.
• Maintains inventories and replenishes par level locations.
• Conduct charges and credits to the patient and dept as necessary
• Maintains departmental phone to expedite supplies and respond to clinical staff needs.
• Maintains organized receiving area.
