As a linehaul driver, I drove to and from terminals or meet points with a day cab and double pup trailers. Mostly, routes were within 600 miles of Omaha. There were also many times I drove to Denver, Cheyenne, Salt Lake City, and Sacramento.

Started as P&D city driver running daytime delivery and pickup between customers and the terminal. Equipment used was a day cab tractor and pup or 48' box trailer, pallet jack, and forklift.

After 7 months, I moved onto linehaul road driver, driving to and from Des Moines, Iowa or Kansas City, KS. When arriving, I was required to load and unload trailers.

Equipment used was a day cab tractor, double pup trailer, and forklift when working on the dock.

Contracted through FedEx Ground, I have pulled double trailers between Lincoln, Nebraska and Lenexa, Kansas over night. Also, I've spent considerable length of my employment driving a local route around the Beatrice, Nebraska area. Within the route, I was able to apply my social skills to create a healthy relation with my many customers. As I advanced into a linehaul position, I operated the overnight priority run between Grand Island, Nebraska and Omaha, Nebraska, pulling double trailers throughout.
