Summary

I have spent the last 27 years in the radiology profession. I started as a general, registered radiologic technologist for my first 3 years. This included being a team leader in a busy Emergency Department. I have since become registered in computed tomography and mammography and have spent 23 years in this clinical environment. In addition, I acquired my Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Radiation Sciences in 2013. In 2017, I became the Lung Cancer Screening Coordinator at MercyOne Des Moines. My natural desire is to work alongside patients and multidisciplinary teams to assist and guide patients through lung cancer workup and diagnosis. My passion for patient care and advocacy has kept me in the medical field and I am always trying to find ways to make a positive difference.
