VOLUNTEER AND LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

  • Student Representative ~ Psy.D Student Council, JFKU Pleasant Hill, CA. As a member of the Psy.D Student Council, I had the opportunity to advocate for the needs of fellow students. I was also an active member on the Sash Bash committee. The Sash Bash Committee is charged with developing and implementing the departmental graduation celebration.
  • Big Sister ~ Big Brothers/Big Sisters Camden, NJ. Working with my little sister, it was my duty to assist her with interpersonal support and companionship. I assisted her with schoolwork and monitored the home situation.
  • Risk Management Chair ~ Sigma Delta Tau ~ DZ Chapter, Rutgers University Camden, NJ . As the elected Risk Management Chair for the Delta Zeta chapter of Sigma Delta Tau, I was responsible for education and enforcement of organizational standards and university regulations.
  • Consumer Advocate ~ Atlantic County Board of Mental Health Advisors Northfield, NJ. As an Appointed Consumer Advocate I served on a twelve-member board as an advocate and advisor to the county executive and the New Jersey Division of Mental Health Services (DMHS) for the development of mental health services to the community. The board advises and makes recommendations on the development of policies and procedures covering community mental health programs.
