Project Coordination Manager

  • Oversee, train, and organize work given to Project Coordinators.
  • Assist with the ERTC process by making sure all BMP’s are followed, monitors are scheduled, and work is organized.
  • Generate/ schedule work for tree crews, including all subcontractors (prioritize most aged work first).
  • Monitor completed work by ArborWorks and subcontractors.
  • Make sure crews are understanding and meeting scope on tree work.
  • Meet with PG&E on regular basis to discuss work in hand, pace, aging work, scheduled refusals, upcoming ERTC's, etc.
  • Schedule line clearances (line covers/line kills) with PG&E lineman, by filling out all required documentation (line clearance request, justification form, create Ad Hoc Map, fill out any necessary T&M requests).
  • Schedule/get pre-approval from PG&E for special equipment if safer and/or more efficient to complete tree work.
  • Help tree crews understand all new technologies (including implementation of all new apps, and systems).
  • Oversee all data and data related issues.

  • Assign work routes to vegetation management inspectors and track progress.
  • Ensure that inspectors properly identify and document hazard trees both within and outside utility ROW's, and properly prescribe work to trees to make sure they meet minimum distance requirements.
  • Track pace, tree summary data, ITS records, open projects, and other reports.
  • Request generation of work from DMS.
  • Create pre-patrol goals before the start of each project and re-visit them at the end of project to see if goals were met.
  • Create target number of locations to inspect per day/per inspector to ensure the team finishes each quarter on time and stays on track.
  • Deescalate situations with hostile customers.
  • Overturn refusals by reviewing work with customers and explaining scope (including PRC codes 4295, 4295.5, 4293).
  • Go through refusal process with customers who refuse compliance work (send intermediary letter, HOC letter, request land rights, send official refusal letter, and request assistance from corporate security if needed).
  • Create field maps, master maps, and index maps for inspectors. File and store all maps properly.
  • Report any abnormal field conditions.
  • Attend status meetings with PG&E management and with other ArborWorks/in house management.
