I'm a single mom of 3 kids, two are under the age of 18, one is married and on his own. Between our households there are 4 dogs, 3 cats, a bearded dragon, a bird, and fish (too many to count). We all share a passion, and that's to love our pets like our own children.

Working retail is my therapy. Why? It's being around people that love their pets like their children. They go above and beyond....their love is unconditional and has no strings. I enjoy getting to know customers and what their pets needs are, it helps to build a repertoire. These are the customers that will return; they'll tell their family and friends about the great experience they had, etc. It's all word of mouth.

My handsome 2 1/2 year old, 95lb. dog is named Ajax. He's a mixed breed of American Pitbull Terrier, German Shepard and Labrador. My mom gifted him to me for my birthday. He's an amazing dog, and has human- like eyes that get really wide if someone leaves the butter out. Ajax loves to be laid on and cuddled with, but it has to be on his terms. He enjoys his car rides, but loves going to the dog park. Ajax is definitely a mama's boy; where-ever I am, that's where he will be, too.

My mom has an AKC Papered Red Standard Poodle, he's almost 8 months old and weighs close to 60lbs. We named him Harvey, after my grandpa, my mom's dad. He's got the softest fur and his face genuinely looks human-like. They go on daily walks and meet lots of puppies, humans, kids and sometimes horses on their local hiking/bike trail through the community.

Together we share a Cockatiel who hates me!!!! His name is Bandit. He has gray feathers with a yellow head and orange ears. Bandit is approximately 7 years old. He enjoys sitting in his coconut, playing with his discoball and being on everyone's shoulder's, (except mine) while doing chores or just watching TV. When Bandit decides he's had enough of "play-time" he'll fly off your shoulder and drop to the floor (his wings are clipped). Either Harvey or Ajax will notify us that Bandit is on the ground and will follow him, until one of us puts Bandit in his cage.

We all got very lucky with our furbaby's. Ajax, Harvey and Bandit are all loved unconditonally and will never know how much joy and happiness they bring to our lives on a daily basis.
