For almost a decade i have been a certified forklift operator. Two key points stand out in my mind. Working safely and efficiently.

To accomplish this i make sure that i operate in a manner to keep all persons, forklift, merchandise, and building in its intended working condition.

Also to work efficiently coincides with the area im responsible for. Clear communication and time management are important to work efficiently. I can be self directed to get tasks completed or if need be give direction according to the needs of business. on the other hand i can take direction to meet the needs of the business of the area i am responsible at that time.

I have experience in operating a forklift in all areas of the warehouse when the business is in need.

As a Stocker the Goal is to be Show time ready and promote sales.

In order to facilitate this goal i follow simple guidelines.

My Department area must be neat, clean, straight, with the correct signs. Also as a stocker I follow the 6 rights of Merchandising.

As a Forklift Operator i can also move merchandise to appropriate locations in a timely and orderly manner. If need be im also able to move containers that morning merchandising needs.

I am able to lead and provide direction, at the same time i am able to follow and take direction according to the needs of the business. Along with taking direction i am able to go and support wherever the business needs that i am qualified to assist.
