Kaitlyn Auld

Volunteering at the "3 Grains of Rice Missions" organization, I helped a team organize a food drive, gather goods, and distribute the food for people in need.

Assisted coaches and other teammates with teaching the youth players fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and mentoring them to be better players and teammates. Also, I helped plan and run practices, organize drills, and set up game day procedures.

Provided attentive care for pets in my community: walking, feeding, and gave proper attention to pets when needed.

Organized classroom materials and resources to ensure the teacher can run the classroom efficiently. Assisted in creating lesson plans, while also preparing samples of the lessons to aid the teacher.

Developed teamwork skills and dedication through rigorous activity and training. My varsity lacrosse program starts in the fall, then begins to take place everyday in the winter- teaching me time management and responsibility.

Growing up, supervising my younger sibling taught me how to be responsible and caring to others. Although this experience just started with him, it soon grew to neighbors, and family friends that I watched. I partook in activities to engage the children like puzzles, playing games, and reading books to them.

Helped my neighborhood and community collect new, unwrapped toys during the holiday seasons to aid for people in need.

In my clubs (sophomore girls, junior ladies, senior women, ASL honors society, and others) I participated in a variety of community service activities such as cleaning beaches of litter, creating gifts for veterans, and volunteering at local shelters.
