I have worked in the insurance industry for the last 9 years, mostly in operations. At Seneca insurance I began my career in data entry for billing and ended my career rating and processing. Now, at Intact I have proudly completed multiple trainings and am cross trained in multiple specialty business units. I’m very hard working and focused on growing my career at a great company. I am positive that my skills and adaptability strengthen me as an employee. I am most proud of my ability to work great as a team whether I am leading or following as well as an individual all in all great team player ready to grow my career in the insurance field.

- Issuing and renewing policies, processing endorsements, cancellations, communicating with the underwriter support team and UW management for both the Entertainment and Technology SBU. I occasionally help out the Financial business unit with quoting and issuing.
- Mentor new hires while I am working towards a promotion of being an Underwriting Associate in operations.
- Cross trained to help out rating team for several business units. I have completed multiple trainings in the 3 years I have been employed at Intact. I began my career in Entertainment and was quickly promoted into the Technology business unit. As of 2024, I am now working both the Entertainment and Technology business unit.
- Other trainings I have completed to take on more of a workload and work towards building my career in insurance at Intact are the personal property floater, workman’s comp, Mass auto and most recently started touching excess liability. I also recently completed a training for ocean marine and am set to help the unit out on an as needed basis coming soon.
- Work in a fast paced customer driven environment. It’s imperative I know how to prioritize my workload, complete rushes, communicate well with my team management and the underwriters. We are required to know how to get things done with quality results without the need of micromanagement. Attention to detail and analytical skills are of importance while working a heavy workload and meeting our SLAs.
