I am a world traveler and a curious learner. Throughout my adolescence, I have developed a passion towards using theatre for social justice.
From being a volunteer, I transitioned into being an intern. My fixed hours are every Saturday from 1-5pm. I continue to work with children, and have started a theatre program. We have performed for Black History Month.
Tri-CYA is a youth agency. At Tri-CYA I primarily facilitated creative activities with children aged 5-12. I also offered homework help, assisted with food distributions, and helped with general organization.
I volunteered as a curriculum writer for Words Alive. My curriculum was around the book "Songs for a Whale" and educated children about the deaf community.
