  • Conducted routine maintenance of various pieces of heavy equipment, including troubleshooting wheeled and tracked vehicle hydraulic, mechanical, electrical systems, torque checks, changing oil, lubrication, and replacement of hoses, pumps, motors, transmission’s, driveline components, frame and body fabrication. Used various hand and power tools to perform maintenance. Troubleshot electrical systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, used chock blocks, jacks, and drip pans to create a safe working condition. Used torque wrenches and impact guns, hydraulic lift systems and mechanics toolbox to complete all maintenance tasks. replaced hydraulic components, and used pressure kits to recalibrate the system to restore vehicle operation and capability. Troubleshot electrical issues such as lights, batteries, relays, fuses, control modules and vehicle wiring. With the proper LOTO applied, schematics and metering devices were used to isolate faults, All nicked, cracked, and other wear and tear were repaired using the proper tools. Operational checks were conducted after repairs were made to verify that the system works properly after repairs were made. Provided proper training on various equipment to ensure soldiers had proper knowledge on how to operate, maintain and service that piece of equipment, keeping safety and standards as the most important. Taught proper ways to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and how to fix those problems in a safe manner.
