4 Years 7 MonthsPatient-specific focused and comprehensive assessments, evidence-based practice, and critical thinking are used to deliver holistic patient-centered care for antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum patients and their families. Other specific skills include triage in our OB ED, circulator in the OR, PACU experience, and working as a Preceptor for newly hired nurses and nursing students. Occasionally assist our L&D "sister unit" at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Extra-curricular activities included things such as Beta Club, MACC & Scholastic Bowl, Environmental Science Club, YOVASO, Kindness Club, Spanish Club, Tennis, Soccer, Roanoke Symphony Orchestra, and Marching Band.

While at RU, a 4.0 GPA was maintained while being an active member of RU's Global and Local Outreach and Education (GLOE) club, Student Nurse Organization (SNO), Epsilon Psi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (SIGMA), and Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. While there, I was also a recurrent receiver of the Dean's List.
